Catch and Release: The sport of fly
fishing is to catch the fish, not necessarily
eat the prize. Anglers are able to keep two (2)
brown trout caught on the river if less than
14” inches in length. Many sport anglers
will often shave the barb off the fish hooks
in order to minimize the harm to caught or snagged
fish.
