Located 5.5 miles southwest of Aspen, Colorado, on Maroon Creek Road.
From Highway 82 take the Maroon Creek Road exit at the roundabout on the West edge of town. The campground is situated in the high mountains, amongst an aspen and pine forest. Thunderstorms are common in the afternoon and snow is possible.
